Angela's mental illness and lack of support that had any clue to her illness is very sad. I've experienced those same thoughts but never acted on it thank God. The psychosis can even completely disappear which mine did when I divorced my husband! Stress is a major trigger for what she experienced. If she could've ditched her husband those babies would be alive today but unfortunately she was trapped. In my opinion, her husband got what he wanted. No child support or alimony.

Truth be known the sanctions that were handed down to Penn State may end up being worse than what SMU got. It may hurt the football program for more years than the death penalty for one season would have.

I know the story already, the author has a LOT to work with. It's more a matter of how he presents it is the only thing I would be looking at. The tale itself, regardless of how true it is or not, is incredibly dark.

HAHA! You crack me up. However, I cannot answer your poll accurately because I haven't liked JLH since her/everyone's overly dramatic performances on "Party of Five." So I don't anything would make me pick up that magazine. I did like her once though... When she did an awesome little movie called "Munchie."

Guess I should have been more specific. By knowing what was going on and doing nothing to prevent it, he aided and abetted several felonies. I just assume people understand that aspect of the law.

I think it is necessary, to send the message out to anyone else who might be aware of something like this happening and doing nothing to prevent it. Sandusky will be forgotten in short time. Paterno is a name people will talk about for generations to come.

I don't understand this article. Why does Joe need to be in prison? He was not the one that raped anybody. That was Jerry Sandusky who (allegedly) did it. If convicted, then yes....he deserves prison...many, many times over.
Keep in mind that the only legal document we have to go off of at this point is the Grand Jury Report (not testimony). The subject of the report was Jerry Sandusky- therefore it was not necessary to focus on what Joe Paterno did or did not do.

And of course The Rain Rain Rain Came Down Down Down from Winnie the Pooh:)

Nope. He cannot have the girl of his dreams. Recently (maybe a-couple-years-ago recently) in the comics, Peter Parker gave Mary Jane Watson cancer with his radioactive spermies and killed her. REDONKULOUS.

Actually I have to agree. I COULD be a Spider-Man fan. I HATED the movies so far. Although Reboot could improve on what was there, I've already seen it. I know he gets bit by a spider. I know his dad dies. I know he can't love the girl of his dreams. On and on.... Spoiler? Fat chance. They should have just jumped a LITTLE in the future and explained his changed appearance that way. Hollywood seems to have totally ditched the concept of continuity of late.

I'm with you. And I'm totally against remakes (especially remakes too soon) done without the original actors. If they can't be convinced I think that's the sign that everyone needs to accept as "this isn't going to happen." I will elaborate to say that, for me, it was just one of these spectacle-for-the-sake-of-a-spectacle films that bore me. Kirsten Dunst is a chicle-toothed goblin and a spoiled brat. I heard she was the one who killed the franchise acting like she was above everything--in the same way as Megan Fox re: Transformers. I could have been into the Spidey films (even with Toby Maguire who is just too childlike for me to take seriously as a superhero) but KD sucks and TM was sick of kissing her because everyone thought she was gross. Which is reminiscent of her dis on Brad Pitt for their kiss in Interview with the Vampire. I love it. :)
